Wisconsin Lioness Club - We Serve Too

Dodgeville Lioness (D1)

Dodgeville, WI  53533

Club Information

Dodgeville Lioness Club was chartered on December 4, 1978. Membership meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Stonefield Apartments in Dodgeville.

We are a small club of 13 members. Our main service project is the Empty Stocking Project which we do at Christmas. Eligible families in Iowa Co, are referred to us by schools, churches and day cares. Iowa Co. Dept of Social Services determines whether the family is eligible for toys. Parents can pick out one new toy and a few used toys for children up to age 10. School age children are also given a Christmas decorated brown bag full of school supplies. We usually spend between $3000-3500 on this project.

We support the following

Wisconsin Lions Camp
Lions Eye Bank of WI
Leader Dog
Scholarships at Dodgeville High School
Upland Hills Health
Free Clinic
Hodan Center, a sheltered workshop
Restoring Hope Transplant House
