St. Germain Lioness (C2)
Club Information
Membership meeting is the first Wednesday of each month : Social hour is from 6:00-6:30 and the
dinner and business meeting start at 6:30. We meet at various restaurants or the St Germain
Community Building.
The St Germain Lioness Club is a Club of 32 members and our main fund-raising is the flea market in St
Germain that runs every Monday from Memorial Day through Labor Day. We serve hot dogs, brats,
hamburgers, sloppy joes, popcorn, nachos, pretzels, and our famous desserts, as well as soda, lemonade, coffee, and water. In 2017 with the money we raised we were able to donate over $26,000 to various Lions Projects, community needs and scholarships.
We are also involved in vision screening at our local schools and daycares, and pre-school registrations.
We are also active in eye tissue transportation.
On the first Saturday of December you will find us at the St Germain Community Center where we host
our “Brunch with Santa” for the local children where they can decorate cookies, make Christmas
ornaments, visit Santa and Mrs. Claus, play in the bubble machine, and have lunch. The whole gym is a “wonderland” in decorations and we entertain about a hundred kids a year. It’s fun for us, the kids, and
the parents.
If you are in the St Germain area and would like to visit or join the St Germain Lioness, please contact
