Gilman Lioness (C2)
Club Information
The Gilman Lioness Club was chartered October 20, 1979. Our members range in age from 27 to 80+.
The membership meets the 1st Wednesday of the month at 6:30pm at Dot and Jerry's in Gilman.
Our fund raisers include the Taylor County Lions Maple Fest the last saturday of April and the Gilman June Dairy Days, Fathers DAy weekend.
The Lioness donate to WLF, the Lions Eye Bank, Leader Dog and Lions Camp. Local donations include annual High School Scholarships;
Eagle Scout Projects; Commission on Aging; Youth Hunt; Baseball league; New Born Books for the Library; Pumpkin carving contest; Pirate back pack food program;Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry and Taylor Country Drug Opposition Partners.
The Lioness conduct the Vision screening for elementary school children; Sponsor the Prince and Princess contest for the June Dairy Days;
Sponsor the Diabetes Alert Day at the Aspirus Clinic and CoSponsor the Readers are Leaders-Writers Inspire Program.
