Mukwonago Lioness (A1)
Mukwonago, WI 53149
Club Information
The Mukwonago Lioness Club was chartered on April 12, 1976 and is located in District 27-A1 in southeastern Wisconsin. Our sponsor Club is the Mukwonago Lions Club.
As noted by D.E. Wright in 1990, Mukwonago, formerly the site of the Bear Clan of the Potowatomi Indians, was the first platted village of what is now Waukesha County. The first brick house in the County (built from brick locally made) is now the home of the local Historical Society. Mukwonago was the junction of roads from Platteville and Janesville to Milwaukee and Green Bay.
A group of Mukwonago Lioness and their children participated in Mukwonago's Midnight Magic Holiday Parade. 'Luckily, the sun came out as we began to walk. Thank goodness, because that helped to warm us up!'
